Summer Training

Term 5 of our training programme is starting on 6 July. This includes coached sessions in; open water swim, mobility & run and a Virtual Turbo – continuing due to popular demand.

There is also a meet and train option for open water swimming and run to choose from.

Semi-Coached Sessions

These sessions will be split into two pods (intermediate and advanced). The Intermediate group will be coached (by Kevin) while the Advanced group will be told what to do before each session, but will not have a coach overseeing the exercises.

Meet: Rosses Point, Main Beach Car Park

Meet and Train

These are free uncouched sessions where members can meet and train together.

Open Water Swim

  • Location: Duck Pond Doorley Park (moved from Rosses Point until further notice (i.e when Jellyfish leave the beaches!)
  • Date: Every Monday 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Run session

  • Location: Hazlewood (Half Moon Bay) car park
  • Date: Every Saturday 9am to 10am

2021 Aquathon Series

We are delighted to introduce out 2021 Aquathon Series. Dates and details are outlined below.

July 2nd – July 4th Swim 500m – Run 5km Doorly Park
July 30th – August 1st Swim 1000m – Run 7.5km Rosses Point
August 27th – 29th Swim 1250m & Run 8.5km or Swim 1500m & Run   10km Hazelwood

Some pointers:


  • Spot prize for person who completes all three.
  • Spot prize for person who competes one or two.
  • Prize for most improved person (male and female) (for those who have completed all three).

We encourage as many members as possible to take part in the series.
